The problem every couple faces
You send out 200 wedding invitations. Then the waiting begins.
Who replied? Who hasn't? Does Auntie Linda have dietary requirements? How many guests are bringing a plus one? By the time your wedding day arrives, you've sent dozens of follow-up messages across WhatsApp, email, and text — and you still aren't fully sure of your headcount.
This is the exact problem Summer Vows' Invites & RSVP feature was built to solve. One link. All your responses. Tracked automatically.
What is the Summer Vows Invites & RSVP feature?
The Invites & RSVP feature is a free digital wedding invitation and guest management tool built specifically for Singapore couples. It lets you:
Create a beautiful, personalised digital wedding invitation in minutes
Generate a unique, shareable RSVP link you can send over WhatsApp, Telegram, or email
Collect guest responses, meal preferences, dietary requirements, and plus one details — automatically
Track all replies in a live dashboard, filtered by attending or not attending
Close RSVPs automatically when a deadline passes
No app download required for your guests. No spreadsheets for you. Just a clean, mobile-friendly experience from both sides.
Feature breakdown: everything you can do
Customise your invitation
Every Summer Vows invitation starts with your words. You can set:
Headline — The opening line your guests see. The default is "You're Invited!", but you can personalise it to anything you like.
Personal message — Write a heartfelt note to your guests. This appears beneath the headline on the RSVP page, setting the tone for your invitation.
These two fields transform a generic link into something that feels like you.
Add your event details
Your guests need to know when and where to show up. The invitation includes dedicated fields for:
— Pre-filled from your wedding date set during onboarding, but fully editable
Time — The ceremony or reception start time, formatted as 12-hour AM/PM on the guest page
Venue name — e.g. The Fullerton Hotel Singapore
Venue address — Full address displayed on the guest's RSVP page so they can copy it into Google Maps
RSVP deadline — Set a cut-off date. Once it passes, the link automatically stops accepting new responses and shows guests a polite message to contact the couple directly
Build a day-of schedule
Singapore weddings often have multiple events across the day — a tea ceremony in the morning, a solemnisation at noon, a cocktail reception before the banquet. The Day-of Schedule feature lets you list every event with its own time and venue.
Guests see this as a clean timeline on the RSVP page, so they know exactly where to be and when. This is especially useful for guests attending only part of the day, or family members coordinating transport.
You can add as many schedule items as you need. Common examples couples use:
Solemnisation
Tea Ceremony
Cocktail Reception
Banquet Dinner
After-party
Couple photo carousel
Make your invitation unmistakably yours. Upload up to 3 photos — engagement shots, pre-wedding portraits, or any photos that represent you as a couple — and they display as a full-screen photo carousel at the top of your RSVP page.
The carousel is designed for mobile: photos display in a 3:4 portrait ratio that fills smartphone screens beautifully, with smooth crossfade transitions and dot indicators. Guests can tap the arrows or dots to browse your photos before they RSVP.
Photo guidelines:
JPG, PNG, or WebP format
Up to 5MB per photo
Vertical (portrait) orientation recommended — 1080×1440px is ideal
Stored securely in Supabase Storage
Meal preference collection
If you're hosting a sit-down banquet, meal selection is one of the most important — and most painful — logistics tasks. Summer Vows makes it seamless.
Toggle on Meal Preference and enter your menu options (e.g. Chicken, Fish, Vegetarian, Halal). When guests RSVP as attending, they'll be prompted to choose from your options before submitting. Their selection appears directly in your dashboard next to their name.
No more emailing your caterer a half-complete list three days before the wedding.
Dietary requirements
Separate from meal preference, every RSVP form includes a free-text Dietary Requirements field for guests who are attending. Guests can note things like:
Halal
No nuts / nut allergy
Gluten-free
Vegan
Shellfish allergy
This field is optional for guests, so it doesn't add friction to the RSVP process — but when someone does fill it in, you'll see it alongside their name in your dashboard.
Plus one management
Managing plus ones is one of the trickiest parts of finalising a headcount. Summer Vows lets you:
Toggle plus ones on or off for your invitation
Set a maximum number of additional guests per RSVP (1 to 10)
When a guest RSVPs as attending, they can specify how many additional people they're bringing (up to your set limit) and enter their names. Your dashboard reflects this in the Total Guests count, which adds attending guests plus all their plus ones together — giving you an accurate headcount at a glance.
Message to the couple
Guests can leave a personal note when they RSVP — a congratulatory message, a memory, or just a quick "Can't wait!". These messages show up in your guest list and are a lovely keepsake alongside the logistics.
Shareable RSVP link
Once your invitation is set up, Summer Vows generates a unique link in the format:
summervows.com/rsvp/your-names-xxxx
The link is built from your and your partner's names, making it feel personal. You can copy it in one click from your dashboard and paste it anywhere — a WhatsApp broadcast, a group chat, an email blast, a digital wedding card, or a QR code printout for physical invitations.
Guests tap the link, fill in their details, and hit Submit. That's it. No account, no app, no friction.
Active / Paused toggle
Need to temporarily stop accepting RSVPs? You can pause your invitation at any time. Paused invitations return a "not found" state for guests trying to access the link. Re-activate it with one click whenever you're ready.
This is useful if you need to update the invite details before sending it to a second wave of guests.
Edit your invite anytime
Venues change. Times shift. Guest limits move. Your invitation is fully editable after creation via a slide-out panel in your dashboard. Every field — headline, message, event details, schedule, meal options, plus one settings, deadline — can be updated without breaking your existing RSVP link.
All previous guest responses are preserved when you make edits.
The guest experience
The RSVP page is designed to be mobile-first and frictionless. Here's what your guests see when they tap your link:
Your couple photos in a full-screen portrait carousel (if uploaded)
Your headline and personal message
Event details — date, time, venue, address, and RSVP deadline
Day-of schedule in a clean timeline layout
RSVP form — name, email (optional), attendance choice, meal preference (if enabled), dietary notes, plus ones (if enabled), and a message to you
Confirmation screen — personalised by name and status, showing the event date as a reminder for attending guests
The entire experience is designed to take under 60 seconds for a guest to complete on their phone.
Your management dashboard
Every response flows into your Invites & RSVPs dashboard in real time. You can see:
Live stats at a glance

Why digital wedding invitations make sense for Singapore couples
Singapore couples are increasingly choosing digital-first wedding communication, and for good reason:
WhatsApp-native — the link works perfectly in any messaging app without any formatting issues
No printing delays — you can send your RSVP link the same day you set it up
Saves money — printing 300 physical invitation cards with RSVP slips costs hundreds of dollars; this is free
Eco-friendly — no paper waste
Instant tracking — no waiting for reply cards to arrive in the post
Easy to update — if your venue changes, you update the digital invite once; physical cards are already out
For multicultural Singapore weddings — where you may have separate Chinese banquet RSVPs, Malay solemnisation guests, and a mixed international guest list — having a single, trackable system simplifies coordination enormously.
How it connects to the rest of Summer Vows
The Invites & RSVP feature is one part of Summer Vows' full wedding planning suite. Your confirmed guest count flows into your Seating Planner, and your overall wedding budget (including ang bao tracking) is managed alongside your guest spend in the Budget Tracker.
Everything is under one roof, free, and built for Singapore weddings.
Frequently asked questions
Do my guests need to create an account?
No. Guests tap your link and fill in a simple form. No sign-up, no download.
Can I see who hasn't replied yet?
The dashboard shows everyone who has replied. For tracking who hasn't, you'll want to cross-reference against your original invite list — a future feature we're actively working on.
Can I use the same link for all my guests?
Yes. One link works for all guests. Each person who submits a response is added to your guest list individually.
What happens after the RSVP deadline?
The link shows guests a message saying the deadline has passed and asks them to contact the couple directly. No new responses are accepted.
Can I edit the invite after guests have already RSVPed?
Yes. Editing the invite does not affect or remove existing guest responses.
Is there a guest limit?
No. You can collect as many RSVPs as you need.
